The client came to us asking for help to improve the current layout of his property. He had numerous ideas and a limited budget. The strategy put forward was a two stage development of the house. A loft conversion and two storey rear extension with basement allowing the client to separate the two building projects.

My task was to design a suitable scheme and secure planning and building regulation approval for both projects whilst also considering the possibility of the extension being added at a later stage.
